Bordeaux was my dream country so me and my husband was very excited. And we were very happy we felt we met a very good tour guide at Bordovino. It was Afternoon in Medoc program by Valentin on 13/ Apr. His attitude was very gentle and I could see that he took care of every each member very well, sincerery and tried to all people become a happy one team of that day. And when we visited two great vineyards it was good to see that Val tried to enjoy everything with everyone(not become a bystander), and he prepared a lot of things at each places for his tour members. I think thanks to Val all our members on that afternoon could've enjoy Medoc very well with comfrotable, relaxed and happy felling. And I loved the vineyard Cantenac-Brown very much personally. Anyway we could enjoy Bordeaux very much thanks to Bordovino and Val. Wish your great this year and again, Thank you ;)

Hello Stephane, Anne and Pierre, Just to make a note of our appreciation of the 3 tours we did with you in the last week.
We really enjoyed them all and would recommend them to our family members and friends. We are both Australians from Noosaville in Queensland, in our sixties, and had a few days in Bordeaux so decided to do a morning tour of the Graves wine region followed the same day by a tour of the Medoc in the afternoon.
One of us speaks English only, the other has enough French to survive. We spent the morning with Stephane and we enjoyed his easy casual and charming style, very courteous and attentive and great fun.
He took us to two wineries with different approaches to making their wines and we thoroughly enjoyed the tours and tastings. Later we were joined by Anne as well with a second van of 8 French and English speakers and we all headed off to tour some of the Medoc and again we commend both Anne and Stephane for their genuine, interesting and most enjoyable approach. We learnt a lot, had fun and really recommend the tours and the staff to others.
The following morning we set off with Pierre to visit Le Bassin d'Arcachon and see the Dune of Pyla, the largest sand dune in Europe. Again, Pierre was great with easy English for one of us and great French for the other of us who occasionally needed a repetition for language learning purposes. He was fun, most obliging and very easy to get along with too. We enjoyed some oysters and a glass of wine at Arcachon after the climb of the dune to see the truly breathtaking views. The wine drinker of us now knows a great deal more about the wine he loves to drink and the other of us, never a wine drinker, now has a keen interest in wine and has appreciated a couple of glasses of French vino since doing the tour and learning what she likes. We recommend all the tours to you.

We booked a wine tasting class and tour to the St Emilion area with Bordovino through the Bordeaux tourist office. I would throughly recommend this company as we had an excellent experience. Our morning tasting class started at a charming Bordeaux apartment just around the corner from the tourist office where we where introduced to our guide for the day Anne. Anne was a fantastic host and very passionate and interested in sharing her love of wine with us. She has a great sense of humour and put us at ease making the experience fun and enjoyable. We learned about the history of wine in the area, had tastings and made our own blend of wine. They also provided some lovely appetisers. The groups are small we had 3 in ours for the tasting so it is a very personal experience we also enjoyed a lovely lunch before having a short break and heading out to St. Emilion for the afternoon again it was small groups there was no more than 10 people in the afternoon. The vans are very comfortable and water was provided along with interesting conversation along the way. We visited 2 Chateau's, Chateau de Reignac and Chateau Clos Fourtet both amazing with so much to see and learn and then to St Emilion village where Anne presented a walking tour which was very interesting. I only wish we had more time in St Emilion village as it was so beautiful. I know I will be back there one day!! Merci Anne, Merci Bordovino, keep up the good work! Kind regards, Mary and Serdar
We did our first tour to the St Emilion area with Bordovino in July 2014. It was excellent in every way and we loved our very likeable and knowledgeable guide Kevin. We came back to Bordeaux in August, and so we did the Medoc tour with Kevin and Bordovino tours. Again, it was just terrific. We enthusiastically recommend these tours, and this passionate company to anyone who enjoys wine and is interested in the Bordeaux wine region.

We had an excellent time in Bordeaux earlier this month, but perhaps the most memorable experience was the Wine Appreciation and Degustation session followed by the Wine Tour to Chateau Reignac and Chateau Soutard, with the final visit to the historic village of St-Emilion. Our tour guide was Stéphane, an excellent host and oenologist - full of enthusiasm and who really loves the Bordeaux area and the viniculture of this fabulous region.
If you are heading for Bordeaux and want to savour the wines, and the wine making - pick any of Bordovino's tours. You will be surprised.

Great tour, loved the Aroma game! We enjoyed it very much
The service was beyong our expectations, we hope our friends will use Bordovino when they come here
We went to St.Emillion on Sunday 5th May and it was such a fun afternoon. Our guide Stefan was terrific, very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We visited Chateua Siaurac and Chateau Soutard. Siaurac was like going back in time. The house and grounds were absolutely glorious and the owner was a great guide. Our guide at Soutard was so friendly and gave lots of interesting facts about the wine making process. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Bordovino again! Thank you so much Stefan!
Excellent wine tour, attention and service and very gentle guide
Agréable, attentionné, complet, merci Bordovino !
Very good attention, excellent explanation of everything
Very friendly and well knowledgable wine tour, thanks to our great guide, Claire!
Knowledge and content of tour, guide excellent.Interesting heritage and history of wineries
Very much appreciate my visit to St Emilion, the guide was very knowledgeable and kind !
Very informative, excellent host, pecfect day! I will recommend Bordovino to my friends :)
Very well planned, friendly and helpful guide. Really appreciate this tour!
We recently enjoyed a half-day wine-tasting tour of the Medoc region organised by Bordovino. The trip was excellent involving a visit to both a cru-bourgeois and cr-classe chateau and the chance to see the wine-making process and sample the delights of their wines. The former, Chateau de Lamarque, was the highlight, with our party being greeted by the owner and invited into his historic chateau home. As well as this, our friendly and knowledgeable guide, Pierre, showed us many other notable chateaux and provided us with wine-tasting tips and tasty nibbles. Overall, the trip was very well organised, most enjoyable and one that we would recommend wholeheartedly.
The three tours that we took with you were outstanding!!! The first day we had Francois. He was fun, knowledgeable about the history in the region, and was good at each of the wineries.
Stephen was our guide all the next day. He was remarkable. He had a vast knowledge about winemaking and each of the areas we were in. He was also fun!
We also met your other guide (I don't remember her name). She was with us on some of the tours and also was great. She gave us other important information.
All of your guides are five stars!!!!
We also want to thank you for the delicious lunch. We enjoyed the french lunch very much!
We plan to recommend you to any of our friends that are in your area!
My boyfriend and I had an amazing afternoon wine tasting with the team. I have recommended this company to everybody now. The website is clear and useful and the team are super useful over the phone. They cater for all different wine events which is really good to have everything in one place when you are planning a trip to Bordeaux.
The tour was well planned, the tour guide, Francois spoke amazing English (better than myself!) and the whole thing was 5*. The advice was easy to absorb.
This is a must for a trip to Bordeaux.
Unfortunately we didn't have long in Bordeaux, but we knew we had to do at least 1 wine tour. The only time we had was the following day, so I emailed Bordovino about a 1/2 day trip and they did everything they could to fit us in, and did so the following afternoon.
Everything was handled smoothly, from pickup, to payment, to recommendations from our wonderful guide at the end.
We went to 2 wineries in the St. Emilion region, one family operated and one corporate owned. These were a wonderful choice as it gave us a really good idea of just how different the wine making processes can be. Not only were the chateaus great, but something must also be said for our fantastic tour guide (Piere) who was a wealth of knowledge and was more than happy to share that with us. Thanks again!
All up, it was exactly what we needed. A relaxing tour of the region, some great wine, great advice at a reasonable price. Piere was also more than happy to give out recommendations for dinner that night and he didn't disappoint. Our best meal of the holiday was due to his recommendation... THANKS PIERE!
My husband and I went on one of yr tours last week. It was a half day tour to chateau Soutard,, and chateau de Pressac in the Medoc, . We had a great time, our guide was Anne, she is wonderful, full of knowledge on everything, so helpful and kind, keep her please she is a jewel, . We had a great time, the staff, and guides at the chateaux were lovely, but particularly the girl in chateau Soutard, she was so knowlegeable and helpful, and imparted her knowledge with a passion, and fun that was quite unexpected from a wine expert..... We will use yr company again on our next visit to Bordeaux, keep up the good work,
My husband and I recently took this tour on our first trip to Bordeaux. He refused the huge bus deal and was delighted with the opportunity of this more intimate, private van excursion. It was a wonderful, informative experience on a cold, blustery spring day that included two chateaus, a subterranean wine cellar with a million bottles, a 1st class grand cru aging room illuminated with crystal chandeliers, a sweet little cooking lesson on caneles, a stroll thru the ancient, magical village of Saint Emilion, and of course some yummy wine.
Juliette and Pierre were the most charming hosts, spoke flawless English and we would recommend this perfect little countryside getaway to all discriminating travelers.
And we do hope Pierre comes to Napa Valley in the fall to expand his expertise in the business of wine and charm Sonoma County !

Great service, good company and very good experience! My wife - Jenny and I went for both the wine tours to Medoc and Saint Emilion and we enjoyed them alot. Both Pierre-Jean and Ann has very good knowledge about the wine business and they are both very accomodating and friendly. What we liked about the Bordovino tour is that the tour group size is no more than 8 persons and this allows us to know other people in the group well. We got along very well quickly as friends and exchanged contacts after the tour. Keep up the good work and excellent service!

I did the half day wine tour to St Emilion and two wineries and it was the best tour I have been on. We were only a small group in a mini van (so much better than a coach load of people). The trip to Baronne Guichard's Chateau Siaurac has been the highlight of my holiday in France. I had great fun at her winery having a tour of the grounds, learning about the history of the chateau, wine making process and then blending wines ourselves and lots of tasting, with a very nice plate of food! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was interesting to compare the other winery and then have a walk around the fascinating old town of St Emilion. I would thoroughly recommend Bordovino Tours and thought it was excellent value for money. I was so impressed, that I intend to come back next year from Australia and bring a group of friends.
We had a great time in Bordeaux thanks to the visits to the châteaus we did with Bordovino. It was important that we could make the best of our time in the region as for wine learning, and Bordovino proved itself as the best option we could have taken. To remark, the kindness and easy chatting of Juliette, so as the willingness of the two guides we had in the châteaux, who explained and showed us the installations and the process for their wine, so as guided us through the wine testing of their own crus. Bordeaux is a great place to "taste", and Bordovino is a good way to do it.
Thank you Bordo Vino! My friends and I had a most wonderful time. No one could have had more informative and cheerful guides. And for anyone shopping around for the best tour outfit, stop your search. This is the place.
Merci! Thomas de Japon
Juliette!! We had the best time on your tour today through the Medoc region with you and Charles. We learned more about wine in our 1/2 day trip, then our previous 30 years :) The personal attention we received and the ability to ask endless questions made it a comfortable and entertaining atmosphere. We would highly recommend your tour to everyone we know!! Best wishes and we hope to see you again!

Myself and my boyfriend had a tour last week just with Juliette & her colleagues, very knowledgeable, friendly & of course helpful. We especially loved the Chateau Pitray & can't wait to taste the wine we brought home! Thanks again, very enjoyable & memorable wine trip, Rachael, Dublin.
Thanks Juliette & Pierre Jean for a very memorable tour. We are recommending your company to our friends and travel agent. Medoc was more than we expected. Donna & Bob
We used Bordovino as our tour guide through the Medoc region on the 24th of September 2010. Starting at Saint-Julien. The woman waiting for us new her stuff, she was very informative, personable and new a few languages. Pierre-Jean, was on our tour with Juliette. Pierre-jean spoke English and was also extremely informative. He knew history of the chateau's along with which grapes did well depending on the vintage. It was a very nice tour and I would highlly recommend for anyone who wants to experience the Bordeaux region.
We had our tour on September 17, 2010 afternoon and had a great time. The tour was great the guides, Charles and especially Marion, was very helpful and friendly! I will definitely join this tour again if visiting Bordeaux.
Srini an I enjoyed our day in the wine country. Our knowledgable guides, Marion and Juliette, helped to make us comfortable and taught us a lot about Bordeaux and its wines. Toronto, Canada

November 24, 2010. Spent a wonderful day touring the Chateau Giscours and Chateau du Tertre with Julliette, owner of BordoVino and Mark, the manager of the wineries. They were both extremely attentive and informative in introducing us to the Medoc/Margaux wine-making process. The tour took us from the vine to the wine tasting in the beautiful Chateaux. We learned many details while having a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We would strongly recommend BordoVino to our friends. Thank you Julliette for a great experience. Barbara and Jacques, Canada
Excellent tour + very friendly people at the wineries, including our guide! Thank You!
We did an unplanned tour with your company in October and consider it to be one of the highlights of our 5 weeks away. We just happened to be in the Tourist Office at the right time.
We have passed on your email details to several friends and hope they manage to fit in one of your tours and enjoy it as much as we did.
Wonderful tour. Very informative and fun!
Loved seeing the comparison of large and small chateaux!
Dennis, United States
Just had a wonderful trip. Julittie was a wonderful guide, a fun person, and made our day very enjoyable.
We would recommend this company to anyone.

A word of thanks for a superb 1 day mde to measure trip organised by BordoVino; lunch at Chateau Haut Bailly was incredible.
Well done !

I just wanted to let you know what a difference a few hours with you made to my trip. I was traveling alone and didn't pick the best area to stay in. Spending a few hours with you guys made it so much better. The help, directions and guidance from Juliette at the end was also so nice.
What a wonderful experience! We took three tours over two days and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Marion and Juliette were gracious, friendly and very helpful. Nice choice of chateaux in Graves, Medoc and St Emilion. Bordeaux wines finally make a little sense. Bordovino has done an exceptional job in organizing these trips and their contacts within the wine industry show during each tour. Lots of nice extra touches - they anticipated us not having time for lunch between two of the tours, so a delightful french dejeuner was prepared. We enjoyed some delicious tomatoes all week. Preparing canelli's in the chateaux kitchen was an unexpected joy to end the day in Medoc. They even provided helpful suggestions on where to eat each evening. Choice of wines, chateaux tours, small, new vans for transportation, small number within the groups - all positive attributes. We can't say enough good things about Bordovino! Hope to be able to return someday and will certainly call on Bordovino.

Salut Charles et Juliette,
I did a half day tour with you to Medoc in June 2011 and it was fabulous, made all the better by the informative commentary from Charles. There were 12 people the day I was there and you had a mini-bus and another car.. I was in the other car with some other Aussies, but tried to mainly speak French and Charles was very understanding..lol
He didn't ram the information down our throats, it was all very casual and he was interested to hear about our other travel stories as well.
I have already bookmarked your website and spoken about you on the radio, and will be recommending you to our travel agency clients.
I know you would not let us down because the standard of your service is very high and it's the intimacy of small group tours that make it even better.
I wish you all the very best for your business venture and will definately see you again next year when I'm back in la belle France
Merci beaucoup et a bientot!
Our visit to Bordeaux was wonderful and our tour with Bordovina to the St. Emilion region was fabulous. Charles, our driver and tour host was very
informative and the half day we spent with him in the town and 2 chateaux was a highlight of our weekend. I would highly recommend the company and thank them for making it such a memorable time.
We have been traveling for 2 months and one of the most memorable tours we have done ,would be the Bordeaux wine tour with the delightful and very informative Marion....
Australia can claim many successful wines of world standard but the Bordeaux tastings were wonderful
As we work our way home, our hope is that the 2 bottles we purchased make it to our cellar door !!!

We went on a half day wine tour with Kate on 6th October 2011. The chateux were absolutely gorgeous and it was interesting learning about all the steps in the wine making process. Kate was extremely knowledgeable on the area as well as the wine and was an extreme pleasure to talk to her about everything to do with Bordeaux.
ON October 27,2011 we had the pleasure of taking a day of touring with your wonderful guides. The tour was a highlight of our trip
to France. I was concerned having made the reservation by email and spending a considerable amount of money getting to Bordeaux
by train ..would they actually show up where and when they told us. No problem they were there on time and we were more than impressed
with their knowledge of the area and wine and care of their clients.
